we had ideas for three separate tours in our state.

I reckon we think about which parts here we can help out with and anything else we want to add or talk to each other about…!..!…….

Raise FunDs anD GeT the Word Out TheRe!!!

So we need some bodies who are good at organising

->media

->bands

->venues

->transport

->anything else???

MUSIC TOUR

*we need a list of bands that will play for the cause!

*suggested that if tours are simultaneous that they meet at main cities for massive partying/fundraising/speak out etc

*inymedia to come on tours?

*banners need to be made for all tours

* were we gonna start this on invasion day at brissy?? (or were we starting in syd and working our way up??)

WATER CYCLE TOUR

*cycling, canoing, walking etc etc along the murray-darling stopping at towns along the way

*water testing as we go

*sound system on a bike for attention and getting our message out there?

*we need bikes and canoes

*is there a touring company willing to back our mission(s)??

things we can do through these tours to raise funds and awareness…,…,.,

Raffles/auctions

_we need donations for prizes

__anyone we know, companies,organizations that love lake cowal and will donate

__anyone got art they wanna donate?

__we can screen print clothes for prizes

__we can make badges (suggested we keep the lake cowal symbol for easy recognition?)

__make stickers

_we need raffle tickets

_fashion show? clothes to be auctioned after being worn in an action or through some sort of deviousness (heh)

_making a calander?

_Postcards to be signed (somebody had some and could photocopy them?)

_petition to sign needs to be written up or photocopied if one exists already

other things we can do…*…*…*…*…*.

-Direct actions (ensure media coverage)

-Stenciling around the place

-Screen printing clothes to wear (give them to ya mates)

-call landline/stateline/current affair about lake cowal and get some comercial media coverage

-write stories/articles on the sitch at lake cowal and send thm to newspapers/magazines/hand them out on the street (who wants to write one soon, 700words, for the greens mag?)

-speak up about it at any gigs your at

-ask around for $ donations from businesses and the such

-call local/etc radio stations and tell them whats happening (ask them for sponsorship as well)

-organise film nights to raise funds, have fun, get the word out and bring our people closer together too

-organise gigs for the same reasons

-having stalls at our markets/festivals (who’s keen??)

should we have a separate elist for the nsw mob or keep it on the lake cowal website so that all know what we are doing??

I think its tres important that we stay tight with communication (the net, phones, meetings etc)

***remember, uncle chappy is going to court this Friday if anyone can be down in Canberra to show their support…….
