Save Lake Cowal Photo Gallery » Global Day of Action Against Barrick Gold, Toronto, Canada

Meeting with Six Nations Clan Mothers. The Clan Mothers listened intently to Uncle Chappy talk about Wiradjuri country and how Barrick Gold, the largest gold mining company in the world is continuing to desecrate their sacred site and poison water in a drought-ridden area. This is the first time Arinya and Uncle Chappy have ever left Australia. Travelling half way around the world Uncle Chappy wanted the Wiradjuri voice to be heard and the Wiradjuri struggle against Barrick Gold, which is desecrating their sacred heartland to be heard.
