The
proposed WATER CYCLE TOUR will run over Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria
and South Australia focusing on the effects of toxic waste on rural and regional
communities based along the Lachlan, Murray and Murrimbidgie rivers.
Using the Cowal Gold Project as a case study of the potential environmental
impact on these water ways the WATER CYCLE TOUR will use community education
as a way to to promote awareness around toxic waste. Encouraging proactive
support for the banning of cyanide use in gold and silver mining in Australia
and the indigenous struggle for land rights and sovereignty.
